Picture
Welcome and thanks for stopping by. I certainly hope that I can be of service. First let me be completely up front, I am not a "Professional" photographer, I am a amateur photographer who has been taking pictures for 30+ years.

I have used 35mm, old style medium format cameras, and now the newer DSLR's. I have taken portraits, pictures for dance studio's, little league teams, and weddings. When I was first shooting wedding I did it with film cameras and to tell the truth, while I loved doing the work, I hated having to wait to get the film developed and making sure that the picture you thought you took is what you actually got. Digital photography has changed all that. You can not preview what you have done and download straight to a computer to make sure things have turned out as expected.

So what do I have to offer? First off if you can afford a professional photographer then by all means use one. Yes they are expensive but they do provide you with more services. With that said I also know that a lot of couples and their parents are doing what they can to afford a wedding that everyone can be proud of and a lot of them are working on a very tight budget. I believe with all of my heart that all couples need to have pictures of their special day. There are a lot of things that go on that the bride or groom do not get to see plus there are just as many tender moments that need to be preserved to show your children and to also look back on fondly.

I offer what I hope is a very cost effective alternative while still providing quality pictures. For the majority of weddings the cost will be $500. For this price I will arrive several hours prior to the start of the wedding to begin the picture taking process. After the wedding ceremony I will provide up to 2 1/2 hours of time at the reception capturing pictures of friends and family along with your special moments such as first dance, cake cutting, etc.

I cover the Newberry, Lexington, and Richland county areas but I am certainly open to going to other locations.

So for $500 what do you get? You get all of your pictures on DVD, actually three sets, one for the bride and groom, and one for the brides side of the family and one for the grooms side of the family. Also the pictures will be posted online for 3 months after the wedding. These pictures can be downloaded by any one that has the web address. With all the services that are provided at stores such as Wal-Mart or online stores such as Shutterfly, it is much cheaper for each family to be able to pick and choose what they want and have the prints made that suit them.

If you have any questions please feel free to call me at the number above or email me at paulrumfeltphotography@gmail.com .

Thanks,

Paul
